On the 7th of April 2001 Steve, Maria and Katherine attended a Melbourne performance of Alegria, another astonishing performance presented by Cirque Du Soleil. It is a modern circus in the true sense with exclusively human acts and performances. This performance was just as remarkable as the 1999 presentation of Saltimbanco. Once again, I cannot recommend Alegria and Cirque du Soleil too highly. As is normal with such performances cameras are forbidden (understandably) within the Grand Chapiteau, so these images are samples taken from the official program. They do not do justice to the real thing but they are the best I can do.
